Aloha fellow yogis!

I just wanted to take a moment and share a little about myself and the importance of maintaining good training skills. This is my 4th evolation yoga teacher training, as a graduate. Why am I back? In short, evolation gave me a life I could never have dreamed of having!

I attended my 1st evolation training in Tampa 2014, followed by another 250 hr training in Santa Barbara and then the continued education training in California about a year later. Thanks to this amazing team, I am now a proud studio owner of Evolation Yoga Kentucky. Evolation provides an amazing experience and creates what I like to call my yoga family. To this day I am still in touch with friends I made in my very first training, and have even visited many other trainees during this time.

When I made my bucket list 15 years ago, the very first place I wanted to visit was Pearl Harbor. So, as soon as I heard there are 6 months of trainings in Hawaii, I knew it was the right time to fulfill my dreams. Now that I am here, I know that it is one of the best locations to practice yoga. Cold weather seems to be everywhere else in the world, while we have warm weather and beautiful beaches within walking distance.

The reason I return to evolation trainings is, one, the community is so welcoming and filled with joy, that it’s a great break from day to day life. However the main reason is that I am always learning something new. I watch my father, who is a lawyer, attend law classes on a regular basis that are mandatory just to keep up his license. I feel in yoga that it is always growing and there is always something more to learn. That is how I keep our studio running and share the exciting, fresh new understanding of this timeless knowledge with anyone who is interested.

I look back, and if I didn’t continue to come to trainings, I feel I might get stale and stuck in a routine that never grows. Each time I return home after a training I also have a fresh glow and new students signing up at my studio to learn even more. Without this continued education, I would not be the person I am today. I would not lead a life of love or fully understand how much I can grow. I am now In Hawaii at another evolation training, excited to learn more, and hoping to have you join me to make new friends and memories!
