Beverly Rose
MEET BEVERLY…
Anyone can benefit from yoga practice no matter where they are - this is the philosophy that Beverly strives to hold to as a teacher. She aims to create a safe and welcoming space for students to practice at their own level.
Breath connected to movement in yoga helps to create mindfulness and balance. If you can take your yoga practice into your daily life and use it to be more self-aware, this can create balance in body and in mind. She’s continuously working on creating this balance for herself, and in this pursuit, hopes to instill it in others.
Beverly started her yoga journey with difficulty, and was not able to have the patience to sit through one class. But now, the practice of yoga and the practice of teaching yoga has become an integral part of her life. Some days it is easier than others, but she tries to remind herself, as with others, that it is about the practice, not perfection.
She completed her 250 hour yoga training with evolation in 2016, and a 500 hour yoga training in 2019. She’s trained in both Hot style and Vinyasa yoga, and also completed a Yin training in 2017. She started teaching with evolation Buffalo right away and has been teaching and joining trainings there ever since! She received a BS degree in Biology at SUNY Potsdam College in 2009, helping to give her a deeper understanding of yoga anatomy.
