We sat down and talked to Mel and Keola, two of our graduates about their yoga love story and how their lives have changed since yoga teacher training.

Keola: We met at the yoga house in Hawaii, we met as a big group of friends. We both were going through a really tough time in our lives. I just wanted some peace and giving and I'm assuming Melanie was also searching for the same thing….

Yoga Story. Yoga Journey. Yoga Odyessy. This training was not what I imagined it to be. It was much more intense. Much more personal. Much more demanding. And much more rewarding than I ever could have imagined.

Doing the training on-line I was concerned that I would miss out on the personal connections and actually had planned on going to Oahu for the 3rd Module in December. However, Covid disrupted those plans and I was unable to travel from Oregon. As it turns out I am glad that I did not go to a tropical paradise with wonderful people. Why….?

Aloha fellow yogis!

I just wanted to take a moment and share a little about myself and the importance of maintaining good training skills. This is my seventh evolation yoga teacher training, as a graduate. Why am I back? In short, evolation gave me a life I could never have Imagined was possible!

I began my yoga journey during the quarantine of 2020. It was March and I had been sent home from my desk job to wait out the initial scare. It seemed a divine chance of fate that I had previously inquired into evolation yoga teacher training program and, in that way, was a part of their mailing list.

As things go, I was not the only one adapting to the changes in the world. Evolation was making a big adjustment towards having teacher training offered online…

10yrs on and I am still teaching yoga and loving the journey. I can’t imagine life without it. Becoming a teacher has to be one of the most enriching and fulfilling things I have ever done.

Yoga has empowered me to look inwards, while empowering and inspiring me to live life on my terms, while being at peace with my choices and my own path. This life I have chosen has allowed me to live a life of freedom.

One of the most powerful and life changing parts of this training that I will take forward with me is the power that comes from just letting go and surrendering. Something happens to you on this journey. You begin to really look deep inside yourself. You see what you are capable of. Who you really are.
